The prototype today

The results here come from one assembled Rev B2 phone with a Telit LE910C1-WWX module. LTE registration, VoLTE calls and SMS have been tested on AT&T in the United States.

Other carriers have not yet been tested. The hardware page lists the modem's LTE bands and regional module choices.

Board revisions

Rev A / B1Earlier versions of the board.
Rev B2The assembled phone used for current development. It includes modifications made after assembly; its faults and required fixes are listed on the hardware page.
Rev CThe planned next board. It has not been fabricated, and the design may still change.

Standby and battery

These measurements describe the current prototype, as of 13 September 2026.

Using the phone's 1242 mAh battery-capacity estimate, the combined average works out to about 93.7 hours. This is a projection from the measurements above; actual battery life will depend on the battery, network and use.

A full-to-empty battery cycle has been recorded. The software also stopped charging in one controlled charge cycle. Battery-gauge and charging behavior across other packs and temperatures remains to be checked.

What's next

  • Correct the known board faults in Rev C.
  • Repeat complete charging and discharging cycles with different batteries, temperatures and power interruptions.
  • Continue antenna tuning and check coverage and calls on more networks. The phone has no carrier certification.
  • Measure standby and battery life with more everyday use.
